How to Add Jobs on the HDVO/DL-18

Adding jobs on the truck is critical to ensuring the data is properly reported on Spec-Rite Online. If your jobs are not set on the truck, all data gets uploaded in to Spec-Rite Online as one job. There are two different ways to add a new job on the DL-18. One way is to manually enter a new job using the Job Name widget on the DL-18. For that tutorial please see the video below. 

 

Another way is to preload jobs into the DL-18. This allows operators to select the job from the pre-populated list rather than creating a manual entry. It cuts down on the time it takes for an operator to begin painting and it eliminates the possibility for incorrect spellings which can cause multiple job variations to appear in Spec-Rite Online. To learn how to preload jobs, please refer to our DL-18 Manual Section 10.2.1 on page 73.
